Here’s what I pack in my Travel Medical Bag
Trust me when I tell you, pack a travel medical bag. You will thank me later. Regardless of where you are traveling to, a well-packed medical bag is essential. The worst time to go looking for a pharmacy is after you already need one, especially when you’re traveling in an unfamiliar place.
No matter where you're going, it's a good idea to bring along a first-aid kit when traveling.
While I am a fan of packing light, I am also a fan of being prepared. So here is my list of things that I put into my travel medical bag.
1. Adhesive bandages/gauze/adhesive tape
2. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer & antiseptic wound cleanser
3. Blister pads or moleskin
4. Packets of oral rehydration salts
5. Safety pins and scissors
6. Tensor bandages for sprains
7. Thermometer
8. Tweezers
9. Any prescription or over-the-counter medication you normally use
10. 1% hydrocortisone cream
11. Allergy medication
12. Anti-diarrheal medication
13. Anti-motion sickness medication
14. Antibacterial ointments or creams
15. Cold and flu medications
16. Pain and fever medication
17. Stomach and intestinal medication
18. Ear plugs
19. Insect repellent
20. Saline eye drops
21. Sunscreen
