2023 Travel Trends
We’ve heard the term ‘new normal’ quite often. Well, when it comes to travel trends, there may be ‘no-normal’.

There is still considerable pent-up demand after the pandemic, but a number of other factors have come into play that will impact travel well into next year.
With high inflation and soaring fuel costs due to Russia’s war on Ukraine, travellers are seeking strong value for their dollar.
Globally, there’s been a 20 percent increase in interest in 3-star hotels.
40 percent of travellers in the U-S are planning to stay at 1, 2- , or 3-star properties next year. And now less really means more – but not in the way you’d think.
A third of travellers say they would rather go on multiple trips to 3-star hotels rather than splurge on a single luxury getaway.
34 percent will also seek out added deals, like free breakfast and parking. Travellers are also wanting to prepare their own food.
43 percent of travellers in the U-S are looking to have a space to cook to save money on a trip.
The top food-related amenities that Vrbo guests are seeking include outdoor kitchens, pizza ovens and air fryers.
In fact, overall, amenities in the home are a bigger priority than its location.
57 percent of travellers would rather book a well outfitted home in a lesser-known destination than a less unique, less equipped place in a popular area.
