San Diego
To me, San Diego is one of the prettiest spots in the US. It's a big city, with a small-town feel. More than a million people now live in San Diego, so it is second only to Los Angeles in population among Californian cities.
The Pacific Ocean, the Anza-Borrego Desert and the Laguna Mountains, which would explain why it's so picturesque, border it.
There's a lot to love about San Diego. 150 km's of beaches, a gentle Mediterranean climate, the fact that the Mexican border is just minutes from downtown...BUT it also has all of the ‘bells & whistles' that you would expect from a resort destination....golf courses, shopping and great choice hotels & restaurants. Which is why so many people visit each year.
